i live in a suburb of cleveland, ohio and as much as i joke about leaving it one day - i'm sure i'll stick around awhile. i plan to keep traveling around the world, but not just anywhere really feels like home. i enjoy sports, nothing like a hoppy beer and some baseball on a beautiful summer night in cleveland - reading about business, strategy + self development books. i'm a mental health advocate and a dreamer of some big ass dreams. i have a passion for all things art, got a whole lotta love for travel and jesus, have the mouth of a sailor, enjoy a good game night and cat naps with my boys (charlie + kluber) - i live for capturing important moments in the lives of my clients - from engagements to wedding days, to the baby bumps + more. believer that life is such a beautiful journey <3

why photography for me?
honestly, that's a great question! i fell in love with art at a very young age. i dreamed of traveling the world and being a landscape photographer for national geographic. i repeatedly said i'd never photograph people... until i did. once i started capturing some of life's biggest moments for people, the urge to stop never came. it's been a crazy ride, especially during the pandemic, but i know that this passion isn't going anywhere and i couldn't imagine a better job. capturing love and life is not something just anyone can do - there has to be a whole lotta love behind it for it to feel right and well, here i am - love and all.

As a COVID bride, like many others, I must have planned five different weddings. When my husband and I were considering a destination elopement I had posted on a wedding Facebook group that I needed a photographer. Rachel responded right away! From there she helped me plan wedding number five with her knowledge of all the picturesque wedding spots in Northern Ohio. The day of our elopement it was just my now husband and I. I explained this to Rachel and it was like she knew what I needed. Rachel helped me with my jewelry and overall with relaxing my nerves with easy conversation and laughs. She knew how to coordinate all our poses and the perfect lighting for both my husband and I. As an interracial couple, this was a must! We loved working with her so much we’re having her photograph our vowel renewal!”

She made the whole experience so fun! It felt like hanging out with an old friend. She's professional, funny, easy going, easy to talk to, and just all around an amazing person! She knows how to capture the love in every moment. Weddings can be stressful and busy and there is a lot you look back on and realize you missed. Rachel captured it all! There were moments I didn't even know happened and it warmed my heart so much to see that she got them for me to look back on and remember. Her work is beautiful and you can just tell she puts so much effort and devotion into her job. This isn't just another income for her, its a passion and you can see it through her work. She did such an amazing job to not make this feel like another "check on the list" of wedding stuff to do, but made it an actual memory for me. I could never thank her enough for all that she did! Hands down the best experience ever!
